PONDERABLES

  • God designed his message of the Cross of Christ to be his power unto us who are in the process of being saved (1 Cor. 1:18). Regarding this same message, Galatians 1:4 declares that Jesus as the Christ sacrificed his life to deliver us from this infectiously evil age. God has much more deliverance available to us than we realize!
  • So many are attempting to bring God down into their way of life, while God has done the redemptive work through his Son, Jesus Christ, to bring us up into His way of life… we are born again, born into a new kind of life, not our old life revamped!
  • Transformation or Perspiration?                             While Romans 12:2 clearly declares that our transformation in Christ results from setting our minds on what is new in Christ (our newness of life resulting from Chris’ts redemptive work), some are misunderstanding that we mature in Christ by climbing the “good works” ladder. The former is by Christ’s work. The latter is by ours. The former is God’s way of transformation. The latter is man’s way by perspiration.
